MCSO Fundraising Brunch

Rockhead’s Memorial Tourney

Sunday, January 25, is the third annual Ken Rockhead’s memorial pool tournament. Come out and support this benefit for the ALS Society at the Skratch, 7803 Newman Boulevard, LaSalle. The fun begins at 12 p.m. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Ladies are welcome. All donations accepted. There will be finger food.

CCFA  Brunch

On Sunday, January 25, all are invited to the Carifiesta Team’s 1st family fundraising Caribbean- style Sunday Brunch. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy an array of Caribbean foods such as fry bake, sweet bread, eggs, salt fish and ackee, smoked herring, fried plantain, pancakes, sausages, fruits, coffee, tea, fruit punch, sorrel and more. On Saturday, February 7, there will be a Grenada Independence party. Grenadian DJs will host this event at 5215 de la Savane.
Church Service

Award Show and Dance
On Saturday, February 21, it’s the Independence Awards Ceremony Show and Dance to celebrate Grenada-Carriacou-and Petite Martinique’s 41st Anniversary of Independence. Enjoy a wonderful evening, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the EveaGreen Reception Hall, 5011 Buchan.

BCQ Youth program

The Black Coalition of Quebec is offering youth between the ages of 16 and 30 an opportunity to participate in a program “Integration Jeunesse.” Courses begin Monday, February 2 and run for twelve weeks.
