The Grenada National Association of Montreal will be holding their annual picnic at Saint Zotique Beach on Sunday July 22nd. Browns Bay 1000 Islands in Ontario, on Saturday, July 21st for an enjoyable family picnic with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Association of Montreal. Buses will leave from Plamondon Metro at 7:30 a.m. Prices are $45; $20 for children under 12.
Bridget Blucher will be performing at the Picnic for the third time. This year she would be celebrating her 20th Anniversary of Gospel music and will be launching her new CD. Also expected to perform among others is Winston Soso known as the Rolls Royce of calypso. More artistes to be announced. Children’s games and the Bouncing Castle will be featured.
A large gathering is expected as usual where people take the time to renew acquaintances agreed in a family atmosphere.
