Inspiration and goodwill were in free-flow at the Laval Convention Centre, where officers and members together with supporters of the Montreal West Church Of God Of Prophecy gathered for an Appreciation Dinner to celebrate Bishop Donald Lee and his wife, Mrs. Dottie Lee’s 60th Anniversary in Ministry.
Among the luminaries who made the journey to Montreal to honor a man and his wife, acknowledged as warriors and stalwarts of the church, were its founding pastor Pastor Aston Cole and his wife.
He was joined by a line-up of the spiritual leaders who succeeded him at Montreal West COGOP, including Bishop Levi Clarke, Bishop Leroy Greenaway, and Bishop Woodroe Thompson, who is now the National Administrative Overseer for the Church of God of Prophecy-Eastern Canada.
All heaped praises on Bishop Lee and his wife for their steadfast and consistent devotion to the church, which extended to their teenage years in Jamaica.
A congratulatory message was also delivered digitally from former Pastor Trevor Reid and his wife Aileen.
Bishop Lee’s brother, Denzil Lee, a pastor based in New Jersey, was also present.
The celebration was made even more special by the presence of the Bishop and Mrs. Lee’s six children – Madge, Annette, Paulette, Sheryl, Deborah and Steve.
Sister  Christine Greenaway  and Brother Winfield Ferguson served as master ceremonies for the event.
